Use starter templates

Every brand starts with a built-in library of ready-made post briefs — the posts most businesses need again and again: limited-time offers, quick tips, customer spotlights, seasonal moments, and more. Open Templates from the sidebar to browse them; each card is one click away from a post waiting for your approval.

Starter templates are read-and-use: you can’t edit or delete them, and they’re the same for every brand. Templates you save from your own posts (via Save as Template on the Content page) appear in the same grid.

Browse the catalog

Each card shows:

  • The template’s category and name.
  • The brief itself — the instructions the AI will follow.
  • A topic chip and platform icons for the channels the template targets (hover for the full platform name; icons are dimmed for platforms you haven’t connected yet).
  • A Most used badge on your most-used starter briefs.

Narrow the list with the search box, the category chips (one at a time), or the platform filter buttons (as many as you like — a template matches if it targets any selected platform). Search also matches the brief text, so a query can surface a card whose title doesn’t mention it. The count line always tells you how many matched, and a Clear filters button appears whenever nothing does.

Create a post from a template

Select Create post on any card. One dialog handles the whole flow:

  1. Post name — how the post is listed in your queue. Prefilled from the template; rename it to anything you like, on any plan.
  2. Post brief — prefilled with the template’s brief. The AI drafts your post from this brief, and you review everything before it posts.
  3. Angles — chips that point the brief at today’s angle (below).
  4. Imagery direction — what the generated image should look like.
  5. Posting to — the template’s platforms come pre-selected among the channels you’ve connected. Platforms you haven’t connected are shown as “Not connected” with a Connect in Settings link. Pick at least one platform.
  6. Select Create & send for approval. The post is generated and lands in your approval queue — nothing publishes until you approve it.

Closing the dialog after you’ve changed anything asks “Discard this post?” first, so a stray Escape never loses your edits.

Steer it with angle chips

Every starter template ships with a pool of angles, shown as chips right below the brief:

  • Five suggestions show at a time. Show 10 more expands the list, and the search box filters the whole pool. The order you see sticks for your whole session, so a chip you saw once will still be there if you reopen the dialog.
  • Picking a chip rewrites the brief and imagery direction for that angle. A toast confirms the rewrite with an Undo button, and a Reset to template link brings back the original at any point. One chip at a time.

Chips work on every plan — they’re the built-in way to point a template at today’s angle.

Editing the text freely

On the Pro plan and above you can also edit the brief and imagery directly in the dialog — your edits shape this one post only and are never saved back to the library.

On the Free and Starter plans, the template text is fixed. The fields are read-only; trying to edit one shows a note with an upgrade link (see plan limits). Angle chips still work, so you can always adjust the angle.
