Understand your plan and usage
Your Billing & Usage page shows how much of your plan you’ve used across everything the app tracks: AI writing, images, posts, brands, storage, and more. Use it to see how close you are to a limit before you hit it.
Steps
- Go to Settings, then select Billing & Usage.
- Each usage card shows one thing the app tracks: how much you’ve used, and your plan’s allowance for it.
- Read a card’s number as “{used} of {limit}”. For example, “3 of 10” AI text generations this month. If your plan has no cap for that item, it reads “{used} of unlimited” instead, with no bar underneath.
- Below the number, a bar shows how much you’ve used:
- Green: you have plenty of room left.
- Yellow: you’ve used 80% or more of your allowance.
- Red: you’ve used all of it (100% or more).
What each usage card means
The app tracks 11 things. Four reset at the start of each billing period. The rest are standing totals that only change when you add or remove something.
Resets each month
| Usage card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| AI text generations this month | Every piece of post text the AI writes for you this month, including Regenerate. |
| AI image generations this month | Every image the AI generates for you this month. |
| AI cost this month | The estimated dollar cost of this month’s AI text and image generations combined. |
| Posts published this month | Every post this app has published on your behalf this month, across all your connections. |
These four counters go back to zero when your next billing period starts.
Standing totals
These reflect where things stand right now. They don’t reset on a schedule. They go up or down as you add or remove the thing they count.
| Usage card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Brands | How many active brands you have. |
| Posts scheduled | How many posts you currently have approved and scheduled for a future time. |
| Connected platforms per brand | How many social accounts are connected for a brand. |
| Media storage | How much space your uploaded and generated media is using, in MB. |
| Media items | How many media files are in your library. |
| Contacts | How many contacts you’ve collected through your capture form. |
| Permission-to-Contact consents | How many distinct people have a signed Permission to Contact form on file. |
Archived and trashed media both still count toward Media storage and Media items. Only permanently deleting an item (Delete now, Empty trash, or the automatic 30-day purge) removes it from these totals. See Manage your storage space and Delete media and use the Trash.
A known label quirk
Two of these cards don’t have a friendly label yet. They show their raw internal name instead:
contacts_stored: this is your Contacts count.ptc_consents_stored: this is your Permission-to-Contact consents count.
If you see a card titled contacts_stored or ptc_consents_stored, that’s
this quirk, not an error. Everything else about the card (the number,
“of unlimited”, the bar) works normally.
Regenerate costs 4 generations per click
Selecting Regenerate to get AI alternatives for a post always produces four versions at once, and each click counts as 4 against your AI text generations this month (and roughly 4× the usual cost against AI cost this month), not 1. See Get AI alternatives for a post.
When you hit a limit
If an action would put you over a limit, a window appears instead, titled “You’ve hit your plan limit”, with the message “You’ve used {used} of {limit} {item}.” For example, “You’ve used 10 of 10 AI generations this month.” or “You’ve used 3 of 3 brands.” (no “this month” for standing totals).
Select Upgrade your plan to go to Billing & Usage and choose a larger plan, or Maybe later to close the window and continue without completing that action.
This same modal can appear for brands, AI generations, image
generations, AI cost, published posts, scheduled posts,
platform connections, and media storage. It does not yet show a
friendly name for media items, contacts, or Permission-to-Contact
consents. If one of those three is what you ran out of, the window shows
the raw name (for example media_items) instead of a plain-language one.
Use the table above to translate it.
