Create your first posts with AI
Tell the AI what you want to say and pick your platforms. It writes a version of the post for each one. The new post starts in Needs approval. Nothing publishes until you review it and approve it.
Before you start
You need a brand first. The AI writes in your brand’s voice and sticks to its topics. You don’t need any connected accounts yet. You can write and approve posts now, then connect later.
Steps

Select + Create Post in the top bar. It’s there on every page. On a phone, it’s the + button. A dialog opens with ✨ Generate with AI already picked. Want to type the post yourself? Pick the ✍️ Write it myself tab instead. See Write a post yourself.

Type a short Name for the post. It can be up to 120 characters. The name is a label for you. It isn’t part of the post people see.

In What’s this post about, say what the post should cover. For example: “Remind clients enrollment ends December 7 — invite them to call for a review.” If you leave this box empty, the AI writes about the Name instead.

Under Platforms, pick the platforms that get a version. The ones you’ve connected are picked for you. A platform that isn’t connected shows as a gray chip with a dashed border and a + after its name. Selecting it opens Settings → Connections so you can connect it. It doesn’t add that platform to this post.
If nothing is connected yet, you can pick any platform. That way you can write first and connect later.
In that case, Facebook and LinkedIn are picked to start. Change them if you plan to post somewhere else.

If you like, add up to 10 images. See Add images to a post for each platform’s limits. It also covers the warnings you’ll see if you add more than a platform takes.

If you picked Instagram and didn’t add an image, you’ll see this note: “Instagram requires an image or video — its post can’t publish until you add one here or on the post’s page.” You can still make the post now and add an image later.

If you like, open More options. There you can pick a Tone Override for this one post, or put it in a Campaign.

Select Generate Post.

Wait while it writes. It takes about 30 seconds. You’ll see: “Writing your post… this usually takes about 30 seconds.”

When it’s done, the post’s page opens. There’s a version of the post for each platform you picked. Each one starts in Needs approval.
Each time you select Generate Post, it uses one AI text generation from your plan. That’s true no matter how many platforms you pick.
What “pending” means
Pending means the post is written but not approved. A pending post never publishes on its own. To learn why, see Why every post starts pending.
This dialog has no place to set a time. Every new post starts as pending. You pick when it goes out later, from the post’s page or the Posts page. See Schedule posts for later.
If something goes wrong
Generate Post is grayed out: You haven’t picked a platform, or an image is still uploading. Pick at least one platform under Platforms, or wait for the upload to finish.
“We couldn’t find your business profile. Pick or create one on the Brands page, then try again.”: Your account has no brand set up yet, or the one you had is gone. Select Go to Brands → in the message. Create or pick a brand, then come back and try again.
“Something went wrong. If this persists, contact support with reference” and a short code: The writing failed or took too long. Try again in a minute. If it keeps happening, contact support and give them the code.
“Upload failed”: An image you added in the dialog didn’t upload. Try adding it again. You may see a different message that says why.
“You’ve hit your plan limit”: You’ve used all of your plan’s AI text generations this month. The window says “You’ve used {used} of {limit} AI generations this month.” Select Upgrade your plan, or wait until your allowance resets. The Usage page in Settings shows the reset date.
“Pick a plan to keep going”: Your trial or plan has ended. Select Pick a plan to choose one.
