Save and reuse templates
You can’t save a post as a template right now. The Save as Template button is no longer on the post’s page. The From Template picker is gone from the Create Post dialog too. This page shows what you can do instead.
Use a template you saved before
If you saved templates in the past, they still show on the Templates page. They sit in the same grid as the starter templates. The same search, category and platform filters work on them.
Each card has one button, Create Post. It opens the same dialog the starter templates use. See Use starter templates. Your saved brief and imagery direction come filled in.
Saved templates don’t have angle chips. The brief and imagery fields hold your saved text as it is. On the Pro plan and up, you can change that text for one post in the dialog.
You can’t edit, rename or delete a saved template in the app.
Copy a post you like
To start a new post from one you like, make a copy:
- Open the post from the Posts page.
- Select the ⋯ (More actions) button at the top of the post’s page.
- Select Duplicate.
You’ll see “Duplicated”, and the copy opens. It’s a new pending post with “_copy” added to its name. It has the saved text of each platform version. It isn’t scheduled and it isn’t in a campaign.
Post a published post again
For a post that already went out, use the Analytics page. Select the post to open its details, then select Post this again. The Create Post dialog opens on ✍️ Write it myself. The post’s text, hashtags, platform and images are filled in. Creating it makes a new pending post that needs your approval.
The Use this template button next to it doesn’t work yet. It only shows a message.
