Work with multiple brands
If you manage more than one business in PostSignoff, a brand switcher appears in the top bar so you can move between them. Everything you see (posts, media, connections, contacts, templates, and campaigns) belongs to whichever brand is currently selected.
Before you start
The brand switcher only appears once you have more than one brand. With a single brand, there’s nothing to switch, so the control is hidden.
Steps
- Look at the top bar next to + Create Post. If you have more than one brand, you’ll see a dropdown showing the current brand’s name.
- Select the dropdown and choose a different brand.
- The page reloads its data for the newly selected brand. The Content page, Media library, Settings → Connections, Contacts, Templates, and Campaigns all now show that brand’s data only.
What’s scoped per brand
Everything below is separate for each brand, and nothing is shared:
- Posts: the Content page, History, and Calendar only show posts that belong to the selected brand.
- Media: the media library, including Archive and Trash.
- Connections: each brand’s own social accounts (see below).
- Contacts: anyone who signed up through that brand’s capture form.
- Templates: saved templates.
- Campaigns: campaign labels created for that brand’s posts.
If you’re looking for a post, an image, or a contact you know you created and can’t find it, check whether you’re on the right brand first.
Add a brand
- Go to Brands.
- Select Add Brand.
- Fill in the new brand’s details and select Save Changes. The new brand becomes your active brand.
Your plan limits how many brands you can have. If you’re at your limit, selecting Add Brand and saving shows “You’ve hit your plan limit” with “You’ve used {used} of {limit} brands.” Select Upgrade your plan to increase it, or Maybe later to stay on your current plan. You’ll also see a red “Failed to save brand.” toast at the same time. That’s expected alongside the limit window, not a second, unrelated failure.
Connect accounts for each brand
Each brand connects its own social accounts. Connecting a Facebook Page (or any other account) for one brand doesn’t connect it for another. Settings → Connections includes this note:
Each brand connects its own accounts. The same social account can be used by more than one brand — connect it once per brand. One-click reuse across brands is on the roadmap.
In practice: if you run two brands from the same Facebook Page or LinkedIn organization, you’ll go through + Connect account separately for each brand. See Connect your social accounts for the connect steps.
Switching brands while editing
If you’re editing a brand’s settings on the Brands page and you haven’t saved yet, selecting a different brand from the list on that page, or navigating to another page in the sidebar, shows an “Unsaved changes” prompt. Choose Save Changes to save and continue, Discard to drop your edits, or Cancel to stay on the form.
This only applies to the brand list on the Brands page itself. Switching brands from the dropdown in the top bar doesn’t show this prompt. To keep unsaved brand edits safe, use the brand list on the Brands page instead of the top-bar dropdown while you’re editing.
