See what you’ve published
The History page is where posts end up once a decision has been made about them: published, turned down, timed out, or unable to go out. Use it to confirm a post actually went live, check how it performed, or pick up a failed post and try again.
Before you start
You need at least one post that has reached a final state. Posts still waiting on you (Pending or Approved) don’t show up here. Find those on the Content page instead. See Review and approve your posts.
Steps
- Open History in the sidebar.
- Use the Status filter to choose what to see: All history, Posted, Rejected, Expired, or Failed. The page opens showing Posted by default.
- Narrow the list further with the Platform filter, the Campaign filter, or the Search… box. All four filters combine. For example, Posted + LinkedIn + a search term shows only posted LinkedIn posts matching that text.
- Each row shows the platform, a preview of the content, its topic (on wider screens), and its status badge.
- On wider screens, the table also shows Posted date and five engagement columns: Views, Comments, Likes, Shares, Clicks. Select any of these column headers to sort by it. Select again to reverse the direction. For a posted post with no recorded engagement yet, the column shows — instead of 0.
- Select anywhere on a row (other than a link or button) to open the Post outcome drawer for that post.
The Post outcome drawer
The drawer brings together everything about how one post turned out. These sections are always present:
- What went out: the exact text and any images that were part of the post. If the platform copy wasn’t recorded at publish time, the drawer reconstructs it from the current content, sign-off, and hashtags and marks it reconstructed.
- Where & when: when it posted, and either a View live link to the post on the platform, or its platform post ID with a Copy button next to it if no direct link is available.
- Edit history: earlier versions of the content, newest first, each with its timestamp and source.
- Lineage: the campaign, template, or template context the post came from, if any.
- An Open post page → link at the bottom, to the full post page.
These sections are shown only when they apply to the post:
- Approval: who approved the post and when, shown if it was approved rather than auto-processed.
- Compliance: the compliance review status and summary for this post, including who acknowledged any findings (labeled on screen as “Attested by {name}”) and the acknowledgement text, shown if your brand has compliance review turned on.
- Engagement, for posted posts: Views, Likes, Comments, Shares, and Clicks, plus when they were last updated.
- Failure, with a Retry button: for failed posts, shown instead of Engagement.
- A Reactivate button, for expired posts.
View live links
View live only appears when the app can build a direct link to the post from its recorded platform post URL, or from its platform and platform post ID. If neither is available, the drawer falls back to showing the platform post ID with a Copy button so you can look the post up on the platform yourself.
Retry a failed post or reactivate an expired one
You don’t need to open the drawer to act on a failed or expired post. The row itself has a matching action button:
- On a Failed row, select Retry to publish it now (or open the row and select Retry inside the Failure section of the drawer).
- On an Expired row, select Reactivate to move it back to Pending for another look (or use Reactivate inside the drawer).
Both actions refresh the list once they finish successfully.
If something goes wrong
“No connected {platform} account for this brand”: This is the reason recorded on a failed post when its platform connection was missing or removed before it could publish. Reconnect the account, then Retry. See Connect your social accounts.
“Failed to publish”: Shown if Retry itself couldn’t complete (for example, a network problem reaching the server). Try Retry again.
“Failed to reactivate”: Shown if Reactivate couldn’t complete. Try again.
