What each plan includes
PostSignoff has three plans: Free, Starter, and Pro. Paid-plan pricing is shown on the Billing & Usage page. This page lists every limit each plan includes, so you can see what changes when you upgrade.

A few of these need more explanation than the table can hold.
Free and Starter have an AI spend cap, Pro doesn’t
Free and Starter each have a hard monthly ceiling on what the app will spend on AI text and image generation on your behalf: $1/month on Free, $20/month on Starter. Once you’d go over that ceiling, the app blocks further AI generation for the rest of the billing period, with the same “You’ve hit your plan limit” window you’d see for any other limit.
Pro has no AI spend cap. Your AI text and image generations are also uncapped on Pro (see the table above), so there’s no monthly number to run into either way.
This is separate from the AI text and image generation counts in the table above, which are their own limits even where a spend cap also applies.
Media items has no limit on any plan
Unlike media storage (which has a real cap on Free and Starter), the number of individual files in your media library isn’t limited on any plan today. This dimension currently isn’t enforced at all, so it’s unlimited in practice as well as in the table above. Your media storage limit, how much space your files take up, is the one that matters. See Manage your storage space.
Contacts and Permission-to-Contact consents are Free-plan features you unlock by upgrading
Lead capture (collecting contacts through your posts) and the Permission-to-Contact form aren’t available on the Free plan at all. The limit is 0, which is how the app locks the feature rather than capping it. Upgrading to Starter or Pro unlocks both, each with its own standing limit: 500 on Starter, 5,000 on Pro.
Compliance review is included on every plan
The compliance review feature, the Analyze check that reads your draft against marketing rules before you approve it, isn’t restricted by plan. It’s available whether you’re on Free, Starter, or Pro.
Storage add-ons work the same way on every plan
If your plan’s media storage isn’t enough, you can buy a storage add-on: extra space in 5 GB blocks, purchased separately from your plan. (A larger 10 GB block existed previously and still applies to accounts that bought it earlier, but it’s no longer offered for new purchases.) Storage add-ons:
- Are available for purchase on any plan, including Free.
- Stay with you if you change plans. Upgrading, downgrading, or switching plans never removes storage you’ve already bought as an add-on. It’s billed and tracked independently of your plan.
See Manage your storage space for how to buy one and how it shows up on your storage gauge.
What happens when you hit a limit
Whichever limit you reach first, the app stops the action and shows the “You’ve hit your plan limit” window rather than letting you go over. See Understand your plan and usage for exactly what that looks like for each kind of limit, including the ones that reset every month versus the ones that don’t.
Where to upgrade
All plan changes happen from Settings → Billing & Usage. See Upgrade or change your plan for the steps: upgrading, redeeming a code, managing or cancelling a paid subscription, and buying storage add-ons.
